Computational Ecology & Environmentology in Microsoft Research Asia

Abstract:

In this talk, we will first introduce the MSRA fellowship program, then share the new progress of sustainability in Microsoft. There are several projects in MSRA from two aspects: industrial sustainability and transformational science.

Speaker Bio:

Dr. Shuxin Zheng has a wide range of research interests in machine learning field, including fundamental algorithm in deep learning, distributed machine learning and stochastic optimization. He is also devoted to developing advanced machine learning technologies for interdisciplinary, such as computer system, computational chemistry, and sustainability.

Before joining Microsoft, he received undergraduate degree and Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China in 2014 and 2019 respectively
